Default RE: Taking Care of an Older Saito????

I've had Saitos from 30 to 180 and all ran well and were user friendly. My 80 is one of my most dependable engines although it is not a "powerhouse"I ALWAYS USE AFTER RUN OIL - good quality air tool oil is far less expensive than what you get in a hobby shop and is suitable because it is specifically designed to dombat moisture in air compressors/air tools. Its a good idea to either drain your fuel tank or isolate it from the engine after flying and then run the engine dry .

I like my Saitos so much that I now have no 2 stroke engines - all either Saito or YS.
