Thanks for your comments! I flew a shrike with a Norvel 15, and it was fast, and a great plane!, but NOWHERE near the speed that the dust is...I think the airfoil is too thick compared to the dust, and it just can't obtain the speeds the dust can..My big dust, I had years ago, had a NELSON Q40 engine on it, Talk about FAST WHEW!! All I could do to keep it in sight! I'm too old now for that kind of brute horsepower! Reflexes are not what they used to be... Going to experiment with some different props, I have an APC4.75x4.75 ,5.25x4.75, 5.5x4.5, & 6x4....I have no idea how they will do, but i will find out tomorrow!
