I've built and flown the P-40 Warhawk, Hawker Hurricane, and Corsair from Check 6 plans. You can get the kit and plans through turnkeyrc.com shown on the RCCA site. I put a .25 size engine in mine and they launched and flew just fine. The landing glide is no problem as long as you turn off the engine before landing and have the prop set up to stop in the horizontal position. I painted mine with latex paint and overspray with poly clear coat.
