RE: Jammed Carburator
I was not aware that the WD in WD40 stood for water displacement, but I am here to swear that near the end of my working life, I became associated with an automobile detail shop. By that time, most engines had lost distributors, but of the few that came into the detail shop, about 99% of them would not start after being sprayed with a high pressure washer. The guys would pop the cap off, spray a couple blasts of WD40 inside it, pop it back on, and the car would start---EVERY time. Never failed. I still don't believe it. This was in a dealership, so we don't know what happened to the cars in the long term, but it got cars started that had flooded caps. I swear. Don't bad mouth me 'til you try it. It works............
