RE: F-20 prop question
Usually the standard blade 9x8 and 9x7 props work better on larger aircraft. Swapping to a 9" blade on these types of planes you will not notice a significant difference in take off performance.
I did fly my Patriot for a while with the Q-500 props (good use for leftovers !). At least the engine was turning up and happy. Flew fine...
