I have one with an OS61 FX with a Macs pipe. Flies nice but the gear is very fragile. You are right that they are in stock but you can not get parts for them. They were made by VQ Models and are discontinued.
For the same money, go for the Cermark F-16 with the upgraded retracts. Fantastic flyer and looks much more realistic.
Just my opinion.
