It is wise to "service" a Tower muffler when it is still new, so you won't have
trouble with it. Take it apart and use Permatex Ultra Copper #101BR silicon
on the seams....this will keep them from turning as well as leaking. Use some red
Lock-tite on the threads of the center bolt, and on the nut.

There is enough room on the end to "double nut it" if you like.
