The folks on the phones have information on a need to know basis!
It is the only way to maintain some secrecy, and many customers get quite aggravated if we announce a plane to early (and maybe then the schedule changes for some reason). Sometimes a show pushes us to announce a product (The FW was shown at Nurnberg in.... Germany). Happily, the FW is excellent, and on schedule.
Anyway, suffice to say that the selection and development cycle is set very far in advance for this level of product (with all the plastic design and tooling and so forth). We are alway monitoring customer feedback and wants.... even if it is not apparent. The folks working on Parkzone are very involved in the hobby.

Last September I wrote Horizon Hobby and asked if they would do an FW190.
They replied that they had no plans to make one.
I then sent them photos of my P51 done up in German markings, I wonder if it helped tip the scales...
