Default Is this engine toast?

I got bored and ran my Enya .15 with a 8x6 prop on the bench (in a cold garage). It seeme to run fine but after 3 or 4 minutes it quit. So I started it again, no problem. Ran it again, it quit after a couple minutes, and noticed it was really hot. Ok, that was fun...so I put it away. But then I took it to the field today and it was really tough to turn. It would turn but there was noticable friction. So much in fact that the electric starter wouldn't turn it. I thought I had hydro lock but I could turn it over by hand. I took the glow plug off and although it did turn more freely, it was still harder to turn than it should of been. So then I shot some fuel into the carb and gave it a few spins but that didn't help. Any ideas guys? I was thinking I might have overheated the motor wth the 8x6 and done permanent damage.
