Will a piece of threaded 2-56 rod glue into the end of the rod? You can thread the clevis onto the threaded rod.

The bigger carbon rods, people have used pieces of dowel to adapt down to the threaded 2-56 rod.

You can by the threaded rod in 12" pieces and 2" pieces
