I have to disagree with w8ye on this one. My answer to your questions is... OH MY GOD, YES!!! I'd much rather fly a perfectly balanced plane that is a touch heavier than a nose heavy pig any time. Two ounces in the tail is nothing for that big wing to lift. With the model balanced more reasonably, the elevator will respond better, you'll be able to land slower, and flair easier. All that said, if you can move the radio gear around without having to add weight, that would be best.

Here's something else to consider: what happens when you fill the tank? How much more nose heavy are you then? I'll bet a good 10 to 12 ounces!
