What reciever to buy?
Personally I like the hitec brand and have had great success. The 555's are more expensive that the standard 7 channel universal. because they are smaller. They also only have 4 channels. My smaller planes use these.
If cost is an issue Hobbico sells one (it's identical to the Futaba brand, just a different name, from what my LHS has advised and what I've read online). Same price as a Hitec 7 channel but it includes the crystal.
I prefer the Hitec or Futaba brands but it's strictly a personal preference.
