Default mini E3D by Gary Wright Model Products (GWMP) - Discountinued.

Hello guys and gals!

About one solid year ago, I was fortunate to purchase this mini E3D from someone locally in Central Florida and just sat on top of my large 6 foot PT-109 RC Boat and three weeks ago, I finally put a motor / esc / RX and have had a wonder joy.

The model came with Hitec HS-55's all around and a heavier than expected Main Landing gear (Thick Wire) plus large Foam tires. I since replaced them with a firm but, thinner wire (less weight) and super light foam tires.

Certainly, didn't go with the usual motor that most have used (HACKER) and instead I used the E-Flite 480 (1020Kv) and it has not been lacking any power as this motor is a power house and don't find myself going anything past two clicks above 1/2 throttle.

Presently, it has the APC Slow Flyer 10 X 4.7 and soon I will be trying out the E-Flite 11 X 3.8 propelleropcorn:

Guys,

Sunday morning was the ticket. It was just an amazing morning with calm and sunny conditions.

Changed out the Propeller from APC Slow Flyer 10 X 4.7 -to- E-Flite 12 X 3.8 propeller. Wow, it zoomed upwards at less than 1/2 throttle and it just hanged from the propeller all the way up! Found the throttle mostly right at 1/4 throttle for just tooling around.

Guys,

Just amazing conditions at the RC Club field and the mini-E3D took several flights with just spectacular results with the larger E-Flite 12 X 3.8 Slow Flyer Propeller.

Got Video uploading and in the meantime a few pictures!
