Any way to salvage this stuff?
I've been out of the Hobby for a couple months due to an ungodly amount of school activities. My friend has gotten me into 3D planes and I'm looking to try and salvage my old setup. So far I've pretty safely concluded that my Tanic 11.1V 2150mah battery is worthless in the 3D world. Is there anyway I can use my Himax 2025-5300 and 25A Phoenix ESC? The brushless motor is on an "I" GWS 400C gearbox which (ratio is 6.1). I'm looking for something durable and under $75 for the plane, do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

Hi Scott:
I have pretty much the same setup as you do, except I use TP 2100 batt. I have a plane a friend kitted for me that he got from a thread on E Zone called Flat 540 that 3Ds very well. No trouble carrying the batt. You might do a search there for it, for plans. Made of Depron. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the Flat 540 plans on E Zone does anyone know if they're still on there?
3D-kid330 do you think a 3d foamy would carry a 3 cell 2100mah lipo with a 2025 5300 Himax?
