When I asked for the 2025 motor and gws style gearbox for christmas I had differnent intentions. Question is, what would a good 3d plane be for this. I'll be using 2 0r 3c lipo's. A balsa plane would be nice, but I'd prefer a foam. (not fanfold) Oh, will this motor be too heavy or work fine for any plane recomending a 2015 motor?

I know it's a fan fold type but this is what I use my 2025 in. This motor with a 6.6:1 and a 12x8 prop draws 16A on 3S so make sure you use the right batteries. These planes are from my own drawing but foamyfactory has about the exact plans. I can e-mail you my plans if you want.

What batt would you recomend. I've got a 1200mah 3cell pack. I am thinking this pack won't handle the motor though. Correct?

I'm using the Kokam 3S 1500 but it's really pushing it. Some of the new packs like the Tanic 1500s will do fine. I also recommend getting a stainless steel spur gear, the brass ones wear out quick with that much torque.
