showtime 4-d
i have just got a showtime 4-d by hanger 9 and want to electrifly it......what would be a SWEET motor for this plane???

Seriously, you need to talk to Tony Stillman at Radio South. He has a Showtime 4D, and just finished an E-powered Brio(the 2m one, not the mini e-flite one).
You should be able to get some good info regarding your new project.
You're gonna want something with the power of a YS 110 for true 3D performance. Im thinking the AXI 5320 too. Should have unlimited vertical performance on 6cells.

maybe two of them in series...LOL
I think you'll have a hard time getting that large a plane off the ground with 3cells.
Minimum of 6 most likely, and I think the 5320 can handle up to around 10cells...but dont quote me on that.
Even something like the 4130/16 would work for general aerobatics would be simular to putting a .91 in it. If it comes out at the weight you have listed, you might get pretty good performance out of it.
