RE: Better indor 3d plane??
i can recomend the shockflyer, i use basicly the same setup but i use an axi 2208/34 and a 10amp esc, your setup maybe heavier but it will have enough power to handle the weight. I'm not sure about the animal but in some videos i've seen it looks good, my shockflyer flies well indoors and outdoors!

For indoors, or even for a shock flyer, you want this:
E-flite Park 300
5 gram servos (or less)
light receiver (spektrum works)
Phoenix 10 or comprable 10 Amp ESC
TP 450 2S

On the Shocky Yak
AXI 2204/54
3 Futaba s3110 servos
CC9-10A ESC
Berg Microstamp RX
3cell 480mah lipo for large indoor spaces, or a 2cell 730mah for small spaces.
This is what a majority of the competition flyers are using. Rocks indoors.
Keep the Yak under 7oz, with this set-up, and it will pull any 3D maneuver you want, and have tons of power to spare.

The animal is also a really good plane. Devin McGrath flys one, and talking with him during our last competition, I got a real close look at how he set it up. He tends to fly it much faster than I would, this added speed is what causes the fast roll rates. If you slow it down, Im sure it wont be so wild.

I would recommend a small battery for sure. Anything around 700mah or less. As to the plane I have had a couple yaks and they are awesome. I personally think you can't go wrong with the airframe choice though.

I'm not familar with that motor but with the rest of the set-up you might be able to fly an Illusion from www.rcxplanes.com. It's fairly large for an indoor flyer, but if you have a lot of room it'll be fine. It's a great outdoor flyer too. If you want to go with something in the shock flyer size range the Allure from rcxplanes is a winner. It's one of my favorites. I fly it outdoors too, but it can be a real handful in winds above 10 mph.
