Weight: 1.1 lb / 17-19 oz (480-550 g) <---- i wonder if it is allup flying weight or mearly the airframe?

Looks good, but I too am concerned that it won't be just over a pound AUW. It's possible though.

Dave, I just ordered this plane and was wondering what motor,batt. and gear you are using at this weight. Have you put it in the air? if so how does it fly. Thanks...Jim

Its all done but motor install....I have a hacker type 20L at about 56 grams....I use smaller batteries (1200 mah)...and replaced the stock landing gear with a much lighter and better for grass mini ultra stick gear....9.75 prop....

I too love this plane although I have had to beef up the landing gear mounts as i have knocked off the gear at least a dozon times it is a very weak mounting point. I fly mine on an e-flite 450 outrunner and 1500 Mah electrafly lipo's and 10X7 prop

That looks good, but couldn't they have put a Black or White, or even Purple spinner on it? Red just looks bad.
