BEC and 4.8 or 6.0 to Receiver???
Hiya all!
I'm new to electric.
So I have been playing with a Cap580 Flatout.. So far I have really enjoyed the plane.. (Plan on getting more.)
Now to my questions... I'm using a Great Planes 20Amp BEC on Flatout.. Is there a way to know if it is feeding 4.8 volts or 6 volts to my servos??? Or how does a BEC work powering Servos??? Can you set how much voltage it sends to the receiver??? BTW I'm using 3cell 640MAH to 750MAH lipos...
Thanks,
Hibrass

RE: BEC and 4.8 or 6.0 to Receiver???
The BEC provides 4.8v to the Rx and is not adjustable. You can get a seperate BEC that will provide 6.0v if you want, but it of course adds weight and in general is not necessary on small planes.
