Flying wings scratch that itch for me in a very satisfying way woodbender, and their simple design (often EPP) makes them quite forgiving of less than spectacular landings and the occasional involuntary contact with the ground and thus more suitable for careless air whupping fun where pylon racers, though very efficient and "slippery" are usually of a more fragile design (composite fuselages and wings, or built up wings) Which are really oriented to pure all out performance over "bashability"

I have a micro speedwing, it's about 16 inches wide, weighs under 3oz and flies at what must be low 70's (MPH) For that size, i assure you 60mph+ feels like too much!

Guys i have a ? I got this plane for christmas from my great wife and need to know if i am going to overload the BEC on my speed control. I ask because that is the warning that is on my power setup! So here is my setup. I have the Great planes performance setup that includes a 2100 battery a 35 amp speed control with a 2amp BEC and a rimfire 35-30-1250. The servos of which i have 4 are Hitec 65hb's. I plan on using a 11x5.5e apc prop. Will the BEC handle this setup? I have .40 glow to 50cc gas planes but this is my first stint into an electric. I have been interested for a while and i guess my wife noticed when we visited the local hobby stores. He recomended this setup to her. Any help would be great!

With 4 micro servos, the bec will be fine. The only thing I would tell you is make sure the esc has plenty of airflow across it.

Has anyone else had problems with the horizontal stab slot not being level? Mine is out of level pretty bad. Of course, I didn't even think to check it out before I CA'ed it in....... it will probably fly OK. I'm going to maiden it tonite. Thumbs ready at the trim buttons............
