RE: I NEED A LI-PO! HELP!!!
IMHO you cant really go wrong with thunder power
it all depends on what you are planing on doing with them
if they are going to go in a 3d plane then you will more than likley be pushing the batts
so you want them to be up to the task
if they are going in a slow flyer then you prob wont be pushing them
so id say get a lesser brand and save some cash

RE: I NEED A LI-PO! HELP!!!
current ratings are very important with all lithium batteries
you must be very sure that your motor is not over amping your batterie
its not allways a good idea to take the motors given specs on this matter
all the companys seem to fudge their numbers a bit
buying a watt meter is a good investment and about the only way to insure that you are safely within the limits of your system
having said that, if you have a major brand motor and prop it according to their specs you are prob safe
but you never know

RE: I NEED A LI-PO! HELP!!!
what are the specs on that motor
i dont know anything about it
continious current?
burst currrent?
just make sure that your chosen batt can handle what the motor is going to ask of it

Thunder Power, Polyquest, Flight Power and Hyperion all get their cells from ENERLAND, it is rumoured that FP takes some extra care in the packing process (matching and conditioning etc). Stay away from cheap China packs, they always bloat. I would love to name some that are advertised but I guess we should not. Do your best to ensure that the actual current drawn (WOT) is about 80% of the battery's discharge capability, then your batt will not be overworked and they last longer.
