Default Electric conversion of a Extra 300 arround 75 inches

Hello all!

Iím looking to convert (to electric) my 75 inches Extra 300 running on an overpowered DLE-55. Iím looking for the same kind of power. Any engine suggestion, which is your preferred brand of engine? Iím kind of lost with all the choices available.

Thanks!

Look at some of the electric setups being used on modern pattern airplanes. Usually a 63mm outrunner of 210-230KV with 10 cell Lipo and 100 amp ESC. Enough power for unlimited vertical with a 12lb airplane.

You are gonna want around 3000 watts.... Extreme Flight has power setups for their 74'ish inch planes that will fling around a 10 to 13 pound plane pretty well....
Usually 10S and 12S SETUPS.....
Hacker C50-14XL with a 22 x 10 prop on 10S will 3D even a 14+ pound plane
Hacker has several large outrunners that are characterized as 50cc equivalents...
