C-ARF YakSP 55 2.1m??
Dears,
I own the C-ARF YakSP 55 2.1m, and I’m having a lot of wing rocking when I put the plane in hovering mode, the wing really rocks hard forcing me to get out of the hovering mode, please tell what I’m doing wrong.
Our Field Conditions: wind is steady with an average of 15mph speed
My Yak setup:
• C-ARF YakSP 55 2.1m
• Engine DLE 55cc
• Prop 23x8 wooden
• Servos: Hitec MG5645 and TG7955on rudder
• Battery Regulator: FlightPower 8 Amp Linear Voltage Regulator
• Battery: Flight power EONX Rx LiPo 7.4V 2100mAh 2S
• Receiver: Futaba 2.4 8channel receiver
• CG: 150mm
• Weight: 7.5KG

RE: C-ARF YakSP 55 2.1m??
It's odd that you have wing rock in a hover . Wing rock is caused by the wings stalling from low air speed. One wing will stall causing the other one to raise up to where it stalls causing the other side and so on and so on.
In a hover your wings are not flying at all, so there would be no stalling issues.
You stated that you are not using any expo. You could possibly need some (positive on JR radios and negetive on Futaba) expo so that your not over controlling in your hover. Usually the ailerons is the least of your worries other than if you want to stop your bird from torque roliing and this is where you could possibly over controlling.
Something here doesn't make since. You shouldn't have wing rock in a hover.

If you could get a video of you hovering your plane. It would be helpfull to see whats going on.
I'm impressed that the Comp arf hovers with a DLE 55. That thing must be really light with that engine in it.
Any way if you get some video I bet we can fix your problem.
best regards
