Swanny's Fat free Taco
I picked up a FF Taco Kit to build over the Winter. It's slated for .25 Glow 2-stroke engine. I was thinking about making it into an electric. I know they make an electric version of the kit, but that's not what I have. Do you think a Power25 would work, or would I need a larger electric motor to handle the extra weight of the Fat Free Glow version? Anybody out there converted one to electric?
The other option is to go with glow. Would you use a .25 or I've heard a few use .40 or .46LAs. If a .40LA would work, how about a .52 Magnum 4-stroke?

RE: Swanny's Fat free Taco
Likely OK.
When you build, keep in mind that the glow version was designed to handle the vibration of an engine. There is plenty of wood that can be completely removed, for an electric. You can find Paul at http://www.swanyshouse.com/index.aspx , and find out what can be left in the box, for your electric version.
I was at Memphis, when Chuck brought his original electric Taco, which inspired the electric kit version. Chuck's was a regular one made electric.
A 40 or 46 LA would work, but I'd say go electric, and kill off some weight.
