Knife edge spins???
I am not sure if this will help you or not but go to the horizon hobby website and somewhere in there they have an article telling you how to do alot of the 3D manuvers.

Knife edge spins???
Example, go vertical as if you're going to do a hammer turn to the left. As the plane slows and stops, you hit the left rudder for your hammer turn. As the plane rotates thru the hammer turn (about 1/2 way), go full down elevator with full power. Lots of throw on elevator makes it easy.
OR, do an inverted flat spin. While spinning, over compensate with ailerons so the plane falls out of the flat spin into a knife edge spin. Again lots of throw helps.

Hey engine, just take the plane vertical, and as the planes falls left or right at the top of vertical.... add rudder opposite to the direction of fall (same inputs as a knife edge), now add aileron in the same direction as the rudder and add full down elevator with power-on. As the plane starts the spin, you can take out just a hint of the aileron input and the plane will really start spinning in the perfect knife edge attitude.

Knife Edge ?
An easy and proven method from Dave Patrick's Wring it Out tapes:
Enter a conventional spin making sure the plane is stalled when entering (no snap-rolls into the spin). From upright use full up elevator / left aileron / left rudder. Once spinning hold the rudder and ailerons and reverse the elevator to full down. Adding throttle will make the knife edge spin faster. Be aware the plane will drop altitude quickly so allow plenty of altitude. Recovery is normally quick since the plane is moving fast.
Good luck with this as it's a really fun thing to do when spectators are watching as few have seen this done.

Warning ........... do the maneuver at VERY high altitude. When it falls, it falls WAY fast.

Knife edge spins???
Another suggestion that works with my 29% Edge. Get the plane in a tight inverted flat spin and then reverse the rudder at a moderate pace, i.e. don't slam the stick over.
Believe it or not I learned this on a simulator and was able to recreate it on the Edge. I haven't been able to get this to work on my UCD yet.

If doing the tip spin just reverse the rudder, instant flat spin, same thing I guess.... Its fun to get really high, go into a tip spin or do a blender, then go from one manuever to the other a couple times making a few turns of each and end it in a elevator

Try this on for size...
5 feet altitude, plane traveling down wind at JUST above stall speed ... pop it up into a wall then instantly push over to an outside 3/4 waterfall ... stop the waterfall at 90 degree upline sticking it into a prop hang ... add a bit of power and then z-bend over the top ... exit the maneuver at 10 feet altitude
Now that has a HIGH pucker factor and looks cool as hell.
Rick
PS
When did you change your avitar? Didn't it used to be a picture of a Ford SVO Mustang?
