I use a 19x8 Mejzlik carbon fibre prop on my 30cc aerobatic and its fine. What sort of plane are you putting the engine in?

ive used 18x8 Xoar BW, 18X10 Mejzlik, 19x8 Xoar BW and a 19x6 XoarBW..... so far on my 1/4 scale Cub i like the 19x6 best,i get the best pull out out of a hover..

i managed to get 8k out of the 19x6, i never tached the other props

If i were to have a DLE30 n a light dedicated 3D/aerobatic plane, i would use a 19x8

I have 1/2 gallon through mine with a Vess 19b. I won't try anything else. Bought a Xoar 18x8 that I inended to use for break in, but I'll probably skip that process and run the snot out of it. Pulls a 10lb 3DHS Slick very well

I have a 3DHS 71 Slick with a DLE 30 and I use XOAR 20x6 and it is great. CLocked at 96 mph and hovers with great pullout. I have over 4 gallons through this motor and it keeps getting better.

Huffer, why not a 20A on that AJ slick? Wouldnt that be better yet than the 19B?

Stratos, I have mine on the bench, 50% complete same setup I am going with. Do you know what the overall weight you are running? I weighed mine with partially completed and threw all the servos tank and spinner prop and hardware I am installing in the cavity and it weighs over 11 pounds already and I am going to load it up with some reinforcing glue and braces too. Don't know how guys can claim 10 pounds on this plane, don't see it happening....11 pounds best case.

I really am not sure of the weight of the slick. I never weighed it. I did have a 3dhs 72 extra that weighed 10.2 with the same setup as my 71 slick. The slick is a little bigger than the extra so my slick probably is close to 11lbs also.

I'm using an APC 18/6W on a single bolt conversion. Static thrust is 20 lbs at 8900 rpm.

Got the hobbyking orange yak, weight is 10 pounds 8 oz dry, lighter than my pilot yak was but also very slightly smaller at 71 inch span, flys lighter. Fly it with the hobbyking 3d 19 8 prop, hover 1/4 throttle with dle 30 v2. lovely.
