RE: Capiche 140
old thread i know , thought this might interest you all ..........
westonuk are very proud to announce that we will soon be selling the capiche in 3 different forms,
Capiche 30e
Capiche 30 IC
Capiche 140
now here's the best bit, THEY WILL BE ARTF !!
with talks between two good friends, Malcolm corbin and Alan greenfeild, malcom handed over the plans from which steve hummel has been hard at work to get the 4 proto's into the country, they are here and built ready to fly and have a very nice colour scheme to boot which steve has designed himself.
the 30 size (50") will be electric which we have had great success flying with the hacker a30 14l, 3s/4s lipo and hs65mg's all round, this electric package will be available by weston also.
this artf will come with optional IC conversion kit for which alan has already designed a tuned pipe to take the west 36, the kit will also come with pre built pipe tunnel which will be covered unless needed. AUW is very very close to the katana S30e.
the 140 (78") size will come artf with pre-built pipe tunnel which is pre-covered unless needed, steve has done very well with this model designing a removable canopy for easier access for radio install and lipo release if you want to go electric, you will also have the option for twin elevator servos or single servo for closed loop, rudder servo is operated by closed loop.
AUW for these models are yet to be confirmed as they are still in proto form, colour schemes have been designed and confirmed and steve will either send me photos later or will post them himself.
The westonuk Capiche artf will be officially released in neurmbourg and final release models ready for sale should be here for may 2008.
before any1 points it out...... yes the canopy is to small, this is just the proto remember, the final model will be just the way it should.

I am not entirely sure what went wrong but it is unfortunate and unacceptable that you did not receive a reply - at least a holding reply. I have just sent you an email in response personally. Please accept my apologies.

RE: Capiche 140
F*** forgot I posted here.
Yes have flown it on a leccy setup, its mental power out accelerates anything electric or IC.
Just the cog is way too nose heavy at the mo, gotta get it back a bit to just behind the wingtube and I should be set.
Aapart from that, cracking model. Want another kit one so I can build it lighter (this ones had a few repairs)
