Default Funtana S 90 Prop size?

I was given one of these, it has a Hacker 90ESC and I believe a C50 Hacker motor. The prop on it is a 22x12 APC and for some reason I feel it is too much prop. I haven't been able to locate information on the motor as to what prop sizes are recommended. It also has 3 servos in the tail. I dont have batteries for it either, not sure if I should use 4S or 6S packs, as 3S dont work, the motor spins for like 15 seconds and winds down quickly, and that is without the prop attached.

3kg to 4kg
C50-15L + 3,7:1
16-24 cells
12x7 to 15x13

Aerobatic models
up to ~ 4kg
C50-16XL + 3,7:1
24-26 cells
17x11 to 18.5x12

up to ~ 5kg
C50-12XL + 6,7:1
27-30 cells
18x10 to 20x13

betting your funtana is a tank I'm saying geta a watt metter and zero out your thorttel cruve and start 19x10 19x12 see how you like it ..

it would be helpful if you knew the last two number's of the hacker motor C50-XX becouse that's going to relate to the KV rateing and where your power band is .. see chart

lower KV for you would be a good thing if your 3Ding that thing

Also your looking at probly runing 10 cell's it maters the model of hte motor.. appears to bea older motor.. ..

Zach
the cells would would be AA nicad or NIMH?
I cant see that thing with 20 to 30 of those?
maybe a large glider..

I would asume its a brushless type, maybe the
C50-10 L Acro 6,7:1 Competition ??
maybe like this one? as stated exact motor type is needed, who know what the previous owner put in there?

older motor those charts are old probly refering to Ni metal

I've seen vedios of guys flying that motor with 8 cell's for ruff guess that airplane is probly 13 pound ish maybe heavyer seem's about right

also that motor has differnt model's helps to know the full model to pick your props and cells

but no way would a 3 celll be accataple

you could be right nitro ... on the model

then your prop would be a APC 20X10

OK, I'll pull the mount off and check the model number after I weigh it.   I think I can get it off without having to cut off the straps to the ESC, I believe its all tied together on the mount itself.

Its a C50 12XL motor. with master 90 ESC.  12-24 volts, which explains it running for a few seconds, once it dropped below 12 volts it went into cutoff. So what would be a proper pack for this setup.

Holy crap, that motor is $692?   That is more than I paid for all my glow and gas motors combined!

On a side note, I downloaded a flew a Real Flight Funtana S 90. Is the wing really as fragile as in the sim? I snapped it off 3 times!  It is a very wicked plane too, needs lots of expo and a soft touch.
