one thing i'd like to konw it looks like on the 30CC they use a Cowl ring ? and mount it via the fire wall if that so

thats reeally cool i'm supsecting that they use the 50cc pictures for the 30cc though 8 /

not in my opnion i would spend the 140 bucks or 100 bucks more for a well known airframe

but they dont look overly bad to me if its a EG airfarme .. like i supsect it's okay they dont fly as well as the others but hey thats up to you

is the issue your budget is low for 30cc or just trying to find the cheap'st flyable thing possiable ?

honslty give them a shot if your okay with going over the plane with glue doing some mixing for KE and going throw checking the insitances you'll be alright .. also i'd spend some time on the covering

and if they have a cowl ring thats badass ....

Pilot dose not have any 30cc edge 540's in stock now and yes the budget is a factor too i felt like i would want to re glue some stuff as well as go over the entire airframe but THANKS for you help! and it still needs like $200 in servos!! it will be the bigest investment in a airplane i have now!

I'm showing Chief has the 30cc EDGE via pilot in stock .. what color you looking for ?

yep 200 dollers is probably on the shallow side for servos in my 30cc 71 slick i just have HS 985s in my big slick i have SAVOX 1231S or something like that ..

in my pilot 50cc edge i had 7955's and a 7950

i wouldn't dumb alot of money into 30cc servos

i have flown the 100cc MSXR EG's airframe .. not my style its a fast airframe but not for me I've flown the 100cc pilot edge 540 .. I like it much better its almost as fast and i have slick 100cc its easyer then the edge but slower speed

nothing seemed to do a panic easyers then the 100C edge .. if you can't do a panic with that airframe time to go to warbirds !

That looks great. I recieved a crashed msxr in a trade. Just wanted the motor. Repaired the landing gear. It turned out to be one of the most fun planes I have. It is tough enough for full throttle walls and blenders etc.. I've been beating on it like a rented mule and it just keeps flying. Your edge looks great. looking forward to seeing the build. If it turns out nice it may be a good replacement. I am very happy with the quality of the plane.

Hey Motoman,

I BOUGHT A MXS-R 30CC AND 35CC DLE ENGINE COMBO FOR A GREAT PRICE. THE AIRPLANE IS PACKAGED IN A HONEYCOMB BOX AND IS REAL STRONG. ALL PARTS ARE SECURED WITH CLEAR TAPE AND EVERYTHING ARRIVED IN GREAT SHAPE AND NO CRUSHED PARTS. IT TOOK 5 DAYS FOR THE PACKAGE TO ARRIVE VIA FEDEX. THE ENGINE IS ON BACK ORDER AND I SHOULD HAVE IN TWO TO 3 WEEKS. ENGINES ARE OUT OF STOCK. THIER SERVICE IS TERRIFIC AND ARE VERY HELPFUL. ALAN IS THE PERSON THAT I'M TALKING TO.

THERE IS ONE VERY IMPORTANT DRAWBACK,. THERE ARE NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS AND IN THIER WEBSITE IS A USER MANUAL DOWNLOAD BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. I SENT A LETTER TO ALAN AND I'M HOPPING HE CAN INSTRUCT ME ON HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE ASSEMBLY MANUAL CAN ANYONE HELP WITH AN ASEEMBLY MANUAL?

I have the 30cc Sbach 342 and the quality is great! Alan at Aerobeez is great to work with. The instruction manual is on a CD taped to the back side of a box inside. Yes they are (Peak) models.

I have received my 540 Edge about 4 weeks ago and am slowly putting her together this is my first gasser to. I plan to get away from the glow stuff except for my ssc combat planes. This Aerobeez sure is packaged well and looks to be constructed well to. I have a 33% 100cc SukHoi SU-26 from Nitro planes that I picked up a couple of years ago that I plan to put a DLE 111 I purchased last summer. The quality of this 540's hardware and construction makes the hardware and some of the construction that came with the nitro model look sick. Part of the reason I haven't started it is because some of the build threads on this kit has shown me that there is a lot of modification that has to be done to it. Something I just don't have time or patience for right now. And I didn't want to go from 40 & 60 size planes right to a 100cc gasser so this 30cc will be my stepping stone. motoman will you be posting more of your build thread on YOU TUBE.

I have two of the Aerobeez planes...Sbach 300 and Yak 55M. They fly very well. Both 30cc size. The only drawback, it is covered in Monokote. Any wrinkles you have to smooth out, be careful it will seperate from the overlay. I would have liked to better if they had been covered in Oracover. All in all, well worth the money !!!
