They seem the same to me however what airplane do you plan to put them in? I found the 645MG's to be slow and not very accurate.

I will be the first to admit that my expectations are a bit high when it comes to aerobatic performance. I am currently outfitting a 40% Extra and am expecting to spend around a grand for the electronics. While that will be high in most people's opinions, I know that what I end up with will meet my expectations for the airplane. That being said, the servos you are looking at would be fine in a large sport plane or a large warbird but I would not put them in an aerobatic airplane. IMO you will be disappointed. I had a servo start to act funny at a pylon race last year and replaced the 5645 that was there with a 645. For the remainder of the day I was chasing the elevator all over the place. When I got home I swapped it out with a JR 8101 and it flys great once again. For that airplane I would be looking at digital servos that have min 130 oz and .14 speed.
