A 30cc plane would be about right for the big Tigre. Think hard about using a Cline Regulator on it.

I just don't have any time on that brand. I have AW, 3DHS and Pilot in the 30cc size. The easiest to hover is the 3DHS Edge 540. Not sure how it fits your budget. It is also the best at 3D of the bunch. The AW Extra 300 is the smoothest. The Pilot Yak54is a handful.

The regulator makes your tank hold pressure. Like a YS 4stroke if you have used one of those. I base this on my time with a ST 3250. The midrange transfer was not the best on the big Tigre. I would not think of doing on the deck hovers with an engine that burbled as it transferred or I was not sure of. these are issues I had with the ST. The Cline regulator along with Byron ST blended fuel and a OS "F" plug cured these issues for me. It's been a few years but I bought the Cline at a place called www.billsroom.com or something close too that.

The extra 260 from General hobby would be excellent for that motor. The fly models MX is another one. I have one with a dle 30 and it's great and its at the 250 mark.

That Bryon's won't fly like either the MX or the Extra 260 that general hobbies has. I know I've got both planes and use to have the sukhoi. It's a lumber wagon compared to the planes of today.
I have DLE's on mine, one a DLE 20 the other a DLE 30. I'm thinking of pulling the DLE 20 off of the 260 and putting a ST 3000 on it.
The ST 3000 should be fairly economical flying it, as I don't find myself using full throttle much. Only on waterfalls, hover punch outs and the like.
The ST 3000 is much smoother than the DLE 30 and isn't near as hard on an airframe.
I bought my 260 from GH for 225 delivered

BTW I wouldn't worry too much about adding a reg to that 3000. Just try and find a stock muffler and you'll be fine.
All my 3000's were fine running motors. I find myself missing them at times.
This is my 260 that has a DLE 20 on it.
it won't handle a DLE 30 but a ST 3000 is an ideal canidate.

I currently have the Sukhoi hanging from my ceiling. It is a very very pretty plane! What happened to yours? When looking at mine I noticed it doesn't even have 4-40 gauge rods!!

A little too heavy on the elevator. those planes back then were snappy. That's why I like the goldwing planes Set up properly they don't snap
