I might have a winner. I don't actually have this combo yet but I am seriously considering it. Hangar 9 frenzy 100 with an os 1.60 2 stroke. Every thread has said this plane is severly tail heavy to the point of having to add like 16oz to the nose so this engine should be just the ticket. For those of you not familiar with this plane the auw is supposed to be between 6 and 9lbs with 9lbs being with an electric setup. Hangar nine calls for a 61-100 2 stroke.

Not 3d but nice power to weight ratio... OS .46AX pulling a 3.3 lb AUW Sickle. Zoom zoom.

One of my GP .40 size Extra (Kit) had an .91FX... .55AX would be just right I think.

I will assemble my Harrier 90 this autum and it will be powered by my ASP 180 fs. I expect it to achieve 2-1 in the thrust-weight department

Yeah, I have the 91 FX too and it is by no means a beast at all. I was very dissapointed by its stock power. After fitting a Tower 75 muffler and a 60L carb plus some dremelwork on the sleeve it became much more powerful, plus the Tower muffler saved 50 grams off the weight. Stock 91 FX is weighing 770 grams and an YS 110 is lighter and alot more power

My brother´s Fliton Edge Freestyle with a G-26 Zenoah, the weight was way too much for the poor landing gear, looking for a replacement.

No beauty is in the torque for 3-D flying. RPM isn't what you need for a U-Can-Do

Kbless I will agree 4 strokes are nice for the torque, but there is no reason you cant do the same hover/3d stuff with a 2stroke. Lots of the profile bros use 2 strokes. I like em all, cept turbines unless its full scale and I aint buying the fuel.

I think I'm in the top 2 this is my world model t-34 with a 120 YS SC. It is fricken unbelievable it was reinforced and still bend the wings in a pylon turn. Take off roll 4 inches, handled and tracked like a pattern plane, sounded like a John Deere on steroids.

Keep the planes coming.................

Not completed yet, but who says you can't squeeze a Zenoah G-26 on a .90 size model?
