Now I know this shouldn't be in the 3D section, bu this is really over powered

Watage foam Mirage 2000 (auw 1Lb) with 2 x 17Lb thrust turbines . . . . . . . .[8D]

Of course, where to put the fuel is a major issue.

I've got a Galaxy P-51D with a 68 inch wingspan that's supposed to take a .60 but I put a Super Tigre .91 in it with a 12X7.5 three bladed prop. It did 80mph in level flight but it seems the covering is coming off. Any suggestions????

I got a Mini magic extra that weighs 2lbs 1oz with a OS 25FX on the nose that puts out 4lbs 8oz's of thrust, we figure she does close to 80 in a full throttle pass
A future project ill be doing soon (hopefully) is a 110 size Katana with a Roto 35 or a ZDZ40

Wow [X(]

A 1.60FX???!!

I would highly suggest you beef up your plane. Check out my FT90 site at http://derrick.myphotoalbum.com

I have a complete build of one I have. Maybe it will help you some.

Twist on floats with a tower 75, is my most over powered. Its a rocket, I had a OS 70 on it but with floats its ~6.5lbs. The tower 75 is so far just as good as any OS I've ever owned.

Actually I bet thats a good combination. I have a saito 82 on my Harrier 46 and it has verticle just slow. Its a heavy plane mine is ~6.5lbs. A true 46 2 stroke would really Vaccum on that plane.

Just a thought... This same thread would be interesting in reverse, the most underpowered plane. Excluding foamies and sailbirds. I guess my least powerful was a FP 40 on a Duraplane.

I had a scat cat quicky 500 racer with a OS .46vf rear exhast race engine on a tuned pipe. 4 lb aircraft maybe 12 pounds thrust. It was crazy. would go verticle with a few clicks of throttle.

What do you think about an 84" WM clipped wing cub with a Quadra 100 in the nose?

I have a Great planes Easy Sport 40 with a Supertiger 91 in the nose, it is pretty impresive even though it is not an acrobatic plane.

Weskel, thats pretty overpowered. I had one with a ST45, and it was plenty. You know an easy sport is a great second plane, IMO better than a sig 4 star or golberg tiger. I miss mine but the wing decided to come off in an outside loop. Talk about a dart with no wing, broke the engine in 3 pieces.

Fliton eXtra 330 Freestyle with a OS91 FX 2 stroke running on APC 15X4W. It's a ballastic machine.....
It pulled the whole plane so hard that after 5 flights, the whole firewall block was shaky.
Made some reinforcements and the plane is excellent!
