EXTREME FLIGHT

Blaine Austin and the crew will be bringing the Extreme Aerobatic Club "Taking it to the Edge" 3D Fly-in to the Georgia Model Aviators club in Ballground, GA 30 miles north west of Atlanta, on August 20-22. Come see some of the hottest 3D pilots in the country pushing it to the limit! Get help from the pros and see up close for yourself what makes these big planes tick. 3D instruction, raffles, good food and Southern hospitality served up alongside some of the best 3D Flying around.
Directions: Take Georgia 400 North from 285 approximately 30 miles. Take a left at the first traffic light you come to (Hwy 369). Travel 8.5 miles and take a right on Old Federal Rd. Flying field is on the right, 3/4 of a mile. 700 x 40 foot paved runway and 500 x 40 foot bermuda sod runway.

What is the admmision and parking fee? Any hotels in area? Do I need to bring chairs and shade?

Nearest hotels are in Cumming, GA. About 15 minutes away. We have a large covered pit area but I would recommend bringing chairs and a pop-up tent if you have them. I will check with our club officials today and post landing fees later this afternoon.

Here's a quick update guys. Landing fee is $20.00 which includes a BBQ dinner on Saturday night. No spectator fee, though we are accepting donations to continue our field development.
