Default New to 3D with Funtana

Just moved up into the Funtana 40 with a Saito 82, 14x4. Check it out! Any advice on setting her up or some tips on flying please don't hold back.

If you find the funtana Post there must be 1000 treads on this plane . It's a floater if set up right .

Kurt, I have had the CG all over the place. 6&3/8" is the best I've found. Farther back and the landings get really hairy. Farther forward and elevators and blenders suffer some. I also upgraded the AILE servos to 90oz. The 50oz I had could not deflect the big AILE as quickly as I wanted. When you said 14x4 I hope it's a 14x4W APC.
The landing gear area is a little weak. I cracked mine and replaced it with 3/16" ply and filled with balsa. I then drilled and tapped it for 1/4x20 nylon bolts and got rid of the blind nuts. This is lighter and stronger. I did go about 75 flights before it broke.

I could go on all day about mine. If you something specific post back here.

David
