Default Advise me a prop for 91fx to slow the plane

Hello Everyone,

I have a 3D .60 size plane with very thick wing. Since I didnt have .60 size engine I put .91FX with 14x7 prop. First flight I broke the elevator. After repairing the damage, I would like to change the prop before I fly again, I need a prop, which will slow the plane actually. Could you suggest me a prop (What about 13x4 ). The plane is about 7,5 lbs.

Regards.

13x4w is too small, depending on what fuel you are using, depends on wthe size prop u can turn

Zafer,

Try something like a 14x4 apc, the low pitch and big diameter of prop should slow the model and will also give you better 3d performance!

try a apc 115/4 or 16/4w I'm turning a apc 15/6 at 10,600 the 91fx is like the os 160 its more torque. i ran it on a 14/6 and after it was run in it ran hot didn't like the little prop. you broke the elevator by flying to fast? the left stick also slows the plane down

My ST .90 likes the 14x4W APC. It gives the best verticle I have found. I have not tried the 15x4W. The engine only has about 20 tanks through it. I'll try the bigger prop after 20 or so more tanks. BTW I run 15% Power Master in mine.

15X4W APC is probably the best for this engine, that's what I use. I get about 10,500 peak, and back it off a couple of notches to 10,300. This is with the stock OS muffler.

The plane I fly it in, a U-Can-Do 3D 60, flies pretty slowly with this prop, but it has great thrust for 3D. It is also very quiet.

16x5 Zinger (regular) works great on my OS .91. Pulls a 6.75# OMP 65" yak very well even at 5,000"
I have tried the Pro series of Zingers and they make great paint sticks.

Good luck, Rob

Thanks for the inputs,

I got the 14x4w and 15x4w both props already. I will try both of them.

Regards.
