RE: What do you mean it's to cold outside?
Ice-laden trees and power lines have been falling throughout the Pocono county since Thursday, disabling tens of thousands of utility costomers, making roads impassable and causing scores of electrical fires. My house has been on a generator since Thursday, and I'm out there playing with my toys

Well if you like to fly during the Winter, I invite you to come fly here.
I spent the week in Fermont,Qc, and the temperature dropped to minus 48 degrees Celsius (with windshield factor... actual temp was minus 36). That's below minus 40 degrees Farenheit guys! Your engines will be extremely tuff to start, your LCD displays on your TX will freeze (I fly full size helos and the LCD on my GPS took ten minutes before starting to work correctly). If your TX is made of plastic, it will most likely crack, and the monokote on your planes will crack too. And within minutes your fingers will be frozen, requiring amputation. (if you need to set the needle valve, then reduce that to a few seconds).
So when are you coming for a flight???

1) Price
2) Box looks great!
3) It comes with a motor (my son is playing with it now)
4) They did a real nice job on the decals
5) The carbon fiber rods are installed, and the controls are hinged
6) Set up for landing gear
7) Manual
8) Building it was quick and short
9) Hovering, Harrier rolling circles, up right Harriers, and it snaps real nice like my wife
10) Generous on hardware
What I did not like about the E-flite
1) Not made in the USA
2) Dopron is sandwich by a plastic film and it creases real easy
3) Does not repair as well as plain dopron
4) Tape on control surface is getting loose after the 5th flight
5) Elevator is connected by balsa and it snapped on me, on the last flight (that was the pictures were taken for RCU)
6) Servo tape came loose on the last flight ( 1/2 of the elevator broken and aileron servo came loose. I still manage to land it)
7) Landing gear wire is weak casing the prop to hit
Set up
1) Motor Himax HA2025 4200
2) Servos Hitec HS-55 Feather
3) Speed control Phoenix-25tm
4) Battery Lipoly pack Etec 11-1V 1200 and a Etec 11-1V 1700 HP.
5) GWS Prop 12-6
I also have the E-Flite Ultimate 3-D, and I’m looking forward to building and flying it with my own modifications of course

Yesterday, 01/13/05 it was a balmy 67 degrees in southern New Jersey. Wow[X(]
I promptly took the afternoon off and headed to the field.
Back to 20° temps for the weekend.
Oh well, it's Winter...

BTW I love my Himax 4200.. Im assuming you are running it 6:1.. I was running a 12X6 . i found that if you change to 5.3 gears and go 11X4.7 it has tons more bite.and vert. but general flying is about the same if not better.flight times were longer too. sometime while playing around with it you ought to try it

RE: What do you mean it's to cold outside?
The snow is gone for a little while. I hope it stays away for a while(long). Was on the field for the first time this year. Clear between some fog, which kept coming in off the lake. I was the first one according to the sign in log.
Boy was I RUSTY, flew my Telemaster 40 and my buddys Sig Kavalier, it took several passes to get the landings right and keep the planes whole.
A really enjoyable day overall!!!!!!!!!!!
Kept the Morris Knife and UCD home today, a smart move I think.
