Default Motor for 29% Katana??? help

I have heard that a BME 50 will not pull a Katana out of a hover. What engine will? I am trying to keep the price relatively cheap. Should I go with a ZDZ 60 or something else like the first place engine 52? Please Help. Would the FPE 52 be enough to pull it out of a hover? I don't know.

A friend of mine had that on his GP Patty Wagstaff and he said it was plenty of power. I estimate the weight of his plane to be around 17-18 pounds.
