well......It hit on the gear and basically ripped the fuse in half infront of the canopy. It totalled the gear, put one hole in the wing, cracked the cowel pretty bad, and ripped apart the wheel pants. The firewall is broken, and there is a dent along the bottom of the wing on the fuse. One wing panel survived, but the paint is scratched.

Rippin a 27x10 MenzS is not hard - we found that in a light model - we made em rip at part throttle - using a piped 80 - try a different prop
See itwill pull a 28x10 Bambula - tho you may be better off with the 26x10 Bambula -they load quite a bit and don't rip.
You should be able to turn the 26x10 Bambula at --6200 or a bit more .
If the MenzS 27x10 is turning 6300

Bambula
Hey Dick
I just finished my 1st gallon of Lawnboy 50:1 yesterday on the engine. I am running it very rich, it takes several seconds to clear out on the ground. I am letting the engine turn up with the 27x10 before I start running higher load props. I could easily pick up a couple hundred rpms just by leaning it out, but it is not worth it on a new engine. I'll run about 2 more gallons of the Lawnboy then switch to a 28x10 Menz s and amsoil. If it is still ripping the 28x10 I will probably order a Bambula. How does the Bambula compare to the Menz for 3D flying and how do the two props compare load wise? I am looking for something to slow my plane down, it halls a** with the 27x10. Also how does the Bambula break on down lines, the menz does not seem to do well?.. thanks

On DA100 and ZDZ80 on tuned pipe- we see much the same results - that is - the Bambua always loads more - size per size comparison.
This is comparing 26x10 and 27 x 10 MenzS against Bambula 26x10.
The MenzS 27x10 is close to same on the ground rpm redings as the MenzS 27 x10.
Braking - about the same - depends on low throttle setting -more than anything.
Flat out speed - all about the same- buts lots more noise with either MenzS on either engine type.
The MenzS always sounds faster -
The MenzS seem a bit better at low speeds -such as hover stuff.
On a very light model tho - it does not matter -
