That was a 9Z SNAFU.
I was trying to do some mix - never finished and then forgot about it. That is what happened when I gave aileron I think. I flew it that way and realized I had that crazy mix in there after I landed.
It was really funny to watch.
Wayne - you know me...... Don't force me to post the picture!

Can you go into a little more detail about the 1 switch rolling harrier. I am going to set this up on all my planes rolling to the left. Why do you use only 1 aileron? [sm=lol.gif]

Okay... here it is. For those of you that have had a hard time DLing the video Goingvert has been kind enough to host the wmv file.
Enjoy!

I am not that big of a risk taker...even if I wanted to demolish the airframe I would not want to risk damage to motor and radio gear.
I guess part of it is I am to dXXX cheap. I would rather strip the airframe and sell it to a local club member for $50.00 than put it in....not that I don't fly some planes much more aggressively than others--just don't think I could fly it in.
Yes, I have done some stress tests...the other day I was at the field flying the F90 and a club member came up to me to warn me of the exploding wing problems with the F90. So I felt compelled to do a full speed pass for him(away from the flight line--only one in the air). He then said that it was when you violently tip the plane strait up that was hard on the wings(Wall) so I felt compelled to do a 3/4 throttle Wall. ---would not do this with some of my other planes.

STG... I already have the equipment for the Giles article and the Funtana gear is going back into another Funtana 90. Looking back I can't tell you just how much fun I had with that Funtana. But if you could have seen it up close you would have thought I got it from a swap meet for $20. All sorts of servo and engine combinations went through that plane until I found a combination I was happy with. I was kinda surprised the plane made it this far.
Be sure to tune in for next video which is a little more stupid... exploding a corsair.

Hey, looks like it can be repaired to me! None of my planes are even close to that nice. If you and your buddies had fun that's all that matters. Isn't that what it's all about?

The Engine was a YS 1.10 that I believe is perfectly fine. I did strip out a Futaba 3004 junk servo I used for the throttle. Big deal... and the wing tube is still in tact.
And thanks for pointing out the tag... my g/friend tucked it in for me before we went out for my B-day dinner that evening. And no, I didn't get a replacement for my Birthday. Still Funtanaless as of this week, but should go get another next week. Kinda tough when you are working on 3 planes at the same time.
