Default Hi Doug

What do you plan on using for radio equipmet like for reciever and servos. Do you think HS-55 servos would have enough torque or speed. Or would you have to go for more power. And what kinda of reciever are you going to use.

Is it blue foam? what size carbon fiber rod did you use on the wings? Is that a twin GWS motor?

Default motor tribute

The tribute uses a Hacker B20 S26 motor with a 4:1 gear reduction. U can sign up for one at www.bktsi.com. Im getting one myself. And it is blue foam...I think. Jeffrey

even though it calls for the B20 26S, would a 15L be good in the Tribute?

I found them in my local archery shop you might try to contact an archery shop in your location. If you can't find them there let me know , I'm thinking about ordering directly from the manufacterer, possibly less cost / currently paying $4.00 ea. Kind pricy "huh "

Default Motor attatchment

Hi Joe : when I built my edge I glued in a carbon arrow shaft to stiffin up the fuse. where the motor goes I left enough arrow shaft exposed to slide the motor on the end after you trim the foam away to clear the motor and fasten with a small screw. Note : that on the gws deul motor, you want one motor on each side of your profile fuse. the arrow shaft is glued in along the thrust line in the fuse. look closely at my pic and you'll se what i 'm talking about. Hope this helps. If you need more help PM me with an E-mail add. and i'll send you more infoand pics. David

So, did anyone see the Indoor 3D Bipe that George has? I saw it in the District VIII report in the back of the June Model Aviation. Looks like an Ultimate.

Yes, the Tribute is available, I just picked mine up on Monday (Aero-Model is 20 minutes from my house) It is a very quick building plane, if I hadn't chosen to airbrush it, I am sure I would have flown it already. If anyone is unsure of how to build the landing gear, ask me, it is somewhat unclear in the instruction manual. Also omit step 9, as it has already been done for you. Also be warned that this plane has no hardware, but it has a very good list of stuff to get. Enjoy your planes, -Dan
