Edge 540 30% plans, where can I get them?
Hi folks, I want to scratch build an Edge 540 or an Extra 330 round about 30% and capable of full 3D but I am having difficulties in locating plans. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Wendell Hostetler... He has an Edge 540 in whatever scale you want. If I remember right, it's 28, 35, 40 percent... He'll print what you want though... Problem is, is finding a cowl for 30%, you could make your own though, or, just go with 28%. He also has an Extra300XS that you might be interested in.

The Hostetler Extra 300XS, at least in the 27% form, is very light. It would make an excellent 3d plane so long as you paid strict attention to set up. You may find it beneficial to enlarge the control surfaces a tad bit, but I don't know about this for sure. Need to find someone who has flown it and ask them. I'm going to start building mine around Thanksgiving I hope.
