What 3D Plane? (I have a cupple in my head)
Hello, Everyone i was thinking of the Hanger 9 Twist 60 36 or the Hanger 9 Funtana what do you think pleas suggest any other plans that you think are capable of Hovering, Knife edge, and all that other fun stuff that I don't want to type out.
Please tell me what you think?
Thank You, Flyer 202

You don't want either.
You want a profile.
Mojo, Zero G or the EF Yak are all great.
Pic the color you like best. Slap a 46-50 2 stroke with a 12.25-3.75 prop on it or a 72 or 82 4 stoke and rock on.
That may not be what you want, that is what you need to learn 3D. Then go to other planes.

Morris The Knife or OMP Edge 540. The Great Planes ucd 3d is good to but knife edge sucks. Zero G is a little loose like the EF Edge for a first 3d plane.

The advice is neither, unless you want to post another thousand threads asking questions how to make the others hover, harrier or knife edge correctly.

of the two you mentioned, the twist is by far the better 3D trainer. It will do advanced stuff too, but the coupling is pretty ugly. THe guys are right, though. IF you want to learn this game and be successful learning it, get a profile. Sorry. I know that's not what you want to hear, but its the truth.

OK you guys have convinced me to go with the Zero Gravity by Billy hell it looks like a great plane but i will have to get 30 more flights on my mid star before i will start flying the ZG. also look around and look at my buddy's plane to see what it is.

Flyer,
that's awesome! You'll find you can keep a closer eye on your motor and servos. You'll find its just more durable. You'll find you're more willing to take the chances it takes to progress simply because of the type of aircraft it is. You have made a wise choice. Enjoy!

The Funtana x50 flew great for me. It was easily powered by an os fl 70. This is my first 3d plane and on its maiden flight i was having somuch fun flying it.
Good Luck with your choice

If you want one to challenge your abilities & make you fly it, Go with one you like (Twist , Funtana or something like that). If you want one to point up & will hover itself get a profile.

EF may still have some Edge 540 Profiles in stock at $110.... an EXCELLENT performer and lightweight.
They list 4-5 lbs but mine was like 4.25 with a Saito .72
I had 3 and sold my built one to a kid in our club and have 2 in box bcause they rock!

I have been flying my first profile for almost a year now. A OMP V2 Katana 70. It makes learning Knife Edge flight easy with almost no coupling. KE figure 8's no problem. After you get use to a profile you will love it for it simplisity.

Never mind your not worth it.
Your Quote --> @ 1/3 throttle and will hover (prop hang) all day (Exactly what I was saying). Don't worry about anyone taking Your #1 position, You have that all sewn up. LOL
