Seduction Series - Demonstrator, FreeStyle, Fun Fly etc...
Since I get lots of emails regarding the Seduction from the G-Trick thread why not make it a post. Does anyone have any experience with the Seduction series planes from OK models, especially the Demonstrator?
Here's are some links for those of you that don't know the plane:
Seduction Demonstrator:

Seduction FreeStyle:

Seduciton FS "Uno-Special":

Seduction FunFly:

http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~cha2/sei...ion%20ff05.htm
Seduction FunStyle (FreeStyle Fuse, FunFly Wing):
http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~cha2/sei...funstyle02.htm
And the movies: The last few ones are the Demonstrator and some pretty incredible flying on the FS.

Anyone have *any* experience with these planes? I've seen the kit for the FS - the lazer cut and the balsa quality has to be seen to believe! Almost like they picked and matched every piece - may be even better than MK. They are hard to get - I am ordering the Demonstrator - Oppinions?

Matt - sorta reminds me of Quique's Smargd...
but you gotta get me one of those kits!!!! Or I need to come over and get one for myself. I love the kits you can get over there. Built a Dash 5 from a early 90's Yoshioka kit... WOW!!
Do you the specs on the Demonstrator & FreeStyle?
The FunStyle looks an awful lot like my Laser 3D (e.g. Madness). I lost my Laser 3D because I was dumb when I switched out my aileron servos - sooo I have another one in the box awainting its trip to the building table.

Seduction...
I love these new F3A/3D capable planes - like a "dual-mode" plane! And the size is right too for just banging around or to practice.
The specs - directly off the Japan site (you have to do the conversion if you're American =P )
Demonstrator
Span: 1692mm
Length: 1753mm
Weight: 3200g~3500g
Wing Area: 57.5 dm sq.
FreeStyle
Span: 1345mm
Length: 1395mm
Weight: 2000g
Wing Area: 35 dm sq.
I finally got to talk to a person who has a Seduction (the freestyle). A very famous flyer in Taiwan. He said that the FreeStyle with the YS-63 is "way" too much power!! His plane came out with the YS-63 at 1990g only. He could hover at 1/3 to 1/2 throttle then shoot up while rolling! I couldn't resist anymore! I ordered the 90-class Demonstrator yesterday. Hope it's as good and as light as the FreeStyle! And I have a YS-120SC for it, oh mine!
This is the video that got me sold - the FreeStyle.
http://www23.tok2.com/home/cha2/movie/panic01.WMV
there are a lot others here (at the bottom of the list), but only one on the Demonstrator.
http://www23.tok2.com/home/cha2/movie/movieindex.htm
and for Europeans heres EZ's company link in Europe - some videos there too.

Swill,
Next time you come to Taiwan, pick one up for yourself! Better yet get one directly from Japan. I don't know about the Demonstrator, but the box for the FreeStyle is very small!

Altech Marketing
Darren,
Try Altech Marketing first. They are the distributor for OK Models in the States. They are importing the FreeStyle, but not the Demonstrator. Ask for Jeff.

There were some pretty useful threads in the RCOnline 'Funfly' forums.
While the Freestyle is a kit, the Demostrator is ARC, and the price reflects so...

Seduction WildStyle
Looks like those folks at OK Models is having way too much fun!! They released another special version today called the Seduction "WildStyle". Weighs only 1650g with the YS-63. Here's a picture. I just wish we can get some of these Seduction kits outside Japan!

roy,
You can see the Wildstyle at OK models website at:
http://www.okmodel.co.jp/
http://www.okmodel.co.jp/shincyaku/Seduction-WS.htm
The wildstyle is a modification of the FunStyle, basically the fuse from the FreeStyle and wing from the FunFly, lightened to the extreme. I can't imagine only 1650 grams with the YS63. That's some awesome power to weight ratio! And extremely light wing loading on that big wing. Also the control surfaces are massive!
I have read a few people flying the FreeStyle with the YS45-2C with good results, however, most are flying with the YS-63.

I just ordered mine from altech. you can find the numder in any of the man magazines. pretty expensive kit cost 190.00 bucks. but it will be worth every penny.I got the freestyle, they dont have the wildstyle yet. the wing span is 52.4 inches , fuse 54" , weight 70-74 ounces takes a 32-45 2cycle or 48-70 4 cycle. I forgot to ask what the wing area is. does anyone know? im not into conversions(just to dumb)

I'm really intersted in the Demonstrator. I have heard that this was a limited production airplane, and may no longer be in production. Anyone have any more information?

Different kind of planes!
Ware talking about different kinds of planes.
The Seduction FunFly, WildStyle, and Diabolic are fun-fly kind of planes, similar to the profile planes. They are not meant for precision flying but can perform wild and slow 3D manuvers.
The Seduction FreeStyle, Demonstrator, G-Trick etc are new generation IAM-style planes that can complete the F3A schedules as well as fly freestyle/3D routines. They are basically still pattern planes, modified with large control surfaces and larger side area. These fly with precision and constant speed, but can also do the 3D stuff on high rates.
I think guess it depends on what kind of flying you want to do when choosing between the Seduction FreeStyle or the Diabolic.
The Demonstrator is a special made plane. They are still taking orders, but I am told by OK model that there is at least a three month wait. They build each per order. You can find the order sheet on OK's website in Japan (Japanese).

Demonstrator
Here's the Demonstrator.
I never heard of anyone flying one of these. Anyone have any info?
I ordered my Demonstrator "kit" through the local master builder, he is getting the regular "Seduction 90" lazer-cut kit, then custom-modifying it to the Demonstrator version. There is no "kit" for the Demonstrator from OK Model, the factory also custom-modify it from their Seduction 90 kit - hence only the ARC version. The differences are in the belly pan and cowling, and control surfaces. The ARC box is huge! I don't know if it can be shipped international at all. Anyone else have a Demonstrator outside Japan?

An OS46 should be able to hover this plane if it weighs 4.5lbs or so as advertised. But I can't say how well it could pull out of that hover.
I hover my 5.25lb Avistar with an OS46. But it rarely has the power to climb out except under ideal conditions.

dear huang
hello there
i saw your post about the diffrences betwin the demonstrator, free style against the fun fly or the wild style.
now...i have an o.s 46 fx that i wanted to use on the seduction free style but now i saw your post and i am thinking twice.
i dont want precision or so... i just want to fool around and do some 3d stuff with that o.s 46 fx.
so are you suggesting to go with the seduction wild style instade of the free style???
waiting for your comment

huang , is the freestyle good for slow speed 3d flight or would the wildstyle be better and easyer to control. the ailerons dont look to big on the freestyle.
