Default rossi 40 for 3D what prop???

Hey does any one know what prop size to use on a rossi 40 for 3D , on a 5 to 6 pound profile plane .......I posted this earlier but nothing yet...whats up guys??????...........Thanks Joe.

For 5-6lb profiles I use a 15x6 (on a Saito 100).

that will be to much prop for a rossi 40. you need to let it turn up. try an 11x4

A 5 or 6 pound plane won't fly 3D with any .40. It might make it to 2.5D, 2.6D, but not 3D. A decent flying weight for .40 size 3D is 4 pounds or less. I used to fly a 5 pound plane with a .40 and got pretty good performance from a 10x4 prop, I don't think APC had the 11x4s at that time.

i FOUND OUT AT THE FLYING FIELD THAT THE ROSSI 40 IS NOT THE POWER FOR A 5/6 POUND AIRCRAFT WITH ANY 3D PROP .......BUT THANKS ALL FOR THE INFO.......
