Default What happened to the Funtana X100 ? Why Discontinued ?

Why did Hanger 9 discountine this plane ?? Are they going to replace it with something else similar ? Stock is low in stores, anyone know who still has Funtana X 100 for sale ? Anyone recommend a nice 90 size 3D'r ? I am looking for a home for my OS 120 AX (for 3D only).

90 size 3der, check out OMP 90 size fusion or yak. They are profiles but they will out-fly a Funtana any day Also alot of people run 120AX in the wildhare 25%ers.

The Showtime 90 is discontinued from what I have read/heard. Looks like Hangar 9 & Horizon are going through some business changes, eliminating non-profitable lines.

thanks, looks like everyone is going BIG or SMALL these days, and the middle class (90-120) is not that popular anymore !

Just a thought...

I could name 20 current aircraft that are much more homely than the X100
The Funtana designs paved the way for average pilots to become much better and confident. It allowed everyone to get into 3D flying without having to buy the best equipment, stuff that many had lying around, suddenly was enough to build a high performance plane.
I think, there will be a new generation of airframes coming, perhaps better.
