peak models 25% red bull edge
hey guys, i'm just finishing up a 25 % edge from peak models, http://www.peakmodel.com/index.php?m...roducts_id=736,
the online manual sugguestsstarting with the cgat 4"and says this is a good starting point. i'm tail heavy and haveeverything as far forward as possible. i don't want to add weight if i don't have to.any one knowhow far back I can move the cg

it depends...remember 4.25" from the leading edge of the wing. If you go back you will need less weight, of course it depends if your airplane is already tail heavy. Btw, check if your airplane drops the tail too fast or slow. IF is not that fast, give it try and fly it. For 3D of course...

i go it balanced out at 4 1/2 inches back. had to add 4 oz weight. but I weighed the plane before adding weight and was at 10 lbs 8oz. so withe the weight it's still under 11 lbs. should fly good with the dle 30

it had its maiden voyage today. was way tail heavy. glad to get it down without destroying it. back to the bench, it's gonna need alot nose weight. with that being said, it sure looked good in the sky
