Redwing RC 30cc 3D planes
Hey guys I am really excited about giving this new company and beautiful planes a try. They offer a 30cc SBach, 30cc MX2, 50cc SBach, and a 50cc Pitts and they are really nice looking and have really nice features. They also require minimal assembly with prehinged wings, partially hinged tail, and pre plumbed tank. Some of the other features include carbon fiber wing tube, foam turtle deck, fiberglass double truss control horns, ringed cowl, and airfoiled tail surfaces. I am a sponsored pilot for them and i cant wait to get my hands on one of these planes! I am also going to help Tim out as much as i can answering your questions. If you don't want to post it you can email me at [email protected] and my redwingrc email should be up soon and i will update it when it does.
[sm=idea.gif] !!! ALSO IF YOU ARE IN THE TENNESSEE AREA I CAN GIVE YOU A SPECIAL PRICE!!!!

Thanks Brady for checking in with me on it. Ican do the combo and it's $619. Ijust put a button online
By the way, from firewall to cowl on the REDWINGSbach is ~160mm, while the DLEis ~165mm. So it will fit without mod and have perfect spacing

Oh, I wanted to specify, the MX2 has the double truss fiberglass horns. It is the fastest build of all of them.
the other 3 have post mounts
V.2 of the Sbach will have fiberglass horns and a few other changes, but it won't be out for a while yet

This is actually the hardware kit from the MX2. The Sbach is almost the same except in instead of the double truss style horns it has the single post style. I talked to Tim and he said he would send me a picture of the Sbach hardware tomorrow so i could give that to you. If you need anything else or have anymore questions just let me know!

Is there a combo price on the sbach like wild hare has for everything?
When are the V2's due in?
Brady that pic of the hardware is impossible for my eyes to see. I looked on the redwing website and they don't have any pictures of what comes with the plane.

Yes Fierce, the combo with a jc28 is $579 and with the DLE 30 its $619. I'm not sure when the V2's come in but i will give Tim a call in a little while and find out for you. Ha I know the picture is tiny there are some pictures of it on the website [link]http://redwingrc.com/planes/sbach.html[/link] If you have any other questions let me know![8D]

Hey Brady, Im considering putting a canister exhaust in mine with the DLE 30....Do you think this will create more of a tail heavy issue and is there one available somewhere...if so can you direct me? Thanks

Hi Tim,
Are these dimensions for the rear carb DL 30? WIll this engine mount in either the Sbach or MX 2 without cutting the firewall for the carb?
Thanks,Ken

RE: Redwing RC 30cc 3D planes
Hey fellas I got some video of the Redwing MX2 flying last week. This is with the JC 28 EVO, it has plenty of power and is a very reliable engine. Servos are power HD DS090Ms on the elevators, and a 9150 on the rudder, and since this video I have put DS090M's on the ailerons also. This is a great fun 3d plane, and you can do just about anything with it. I love it because its great with gas, easy to transport, and still has that big plane feel to it.

T3beatz!!!!
Excellent flying! awesome video. I am seriously looking into this plane. How is the power with 28cc? you think the DL 30 would be better. I want to keep it light as possible.

RE: Redwing RC 30cc 3D planes
just look at 3:05... the way it picks up out of knife edge and shoots in the air, I would say it's PLENTY for the plane. The JC is actually 2oz lighter than the new rear carb DLE. hope this helps

I have some more video that I'm currently editing now, it should showcase the power of the JC a little better... I hope to get it edited and online in the next couple hours.
