All APC: 16-8, 17-6 or 18-6W for slow flying thrusty 3D.

RE: saito 180 prop size
I have been told that the Mezjlik 18x6 is the prop of choice, I just got a hold of one, but won't get to test it out for a while due to business schedule.

Recomendation:
APC 20x8W - minimum 3D prop APC 22x10W (repitched to 22x7.5) - Ultimate 3D performace APC 20x10W - Pattern F3A _________ Schpankme |
RE: saito 180 prop size
You better be running 70% Nitro at 2000 ft BELOW sea level with a 22" prop. I flew 17x8N with my H9 CAP and have an 18x6W, about 9600 RPM with 30% Nitro, OS F plug at less than 1000 ASL with either. The 18x6W seemed to cause much more torque issues on my Ultra Wasp fun fly, so I stayed with the 17x8N. Pulls like crazy.

Super Tigre G-2300 (1.40)
19x8 @ 7600 rpm = 17.8 lb torque (static) 19x6 @ 8900 rpm = 18 lb torque (static) * FAI Fuel 0% nitro & 5% Acetone _________ Schpankme * added fuel mixture |
