Which plane to get?
Hello,
my dad is looking for a new plane and he started with a firebird, moved to a wingo, and has a nitro trainer hes run once but wants an electric, he kind of likes the typhoon but would sort of like a bipe. he doesnt like the kind of plane like a flatout, he likes the more scale looking airplane like the typhoon. is there any planes that meats what hes looking for? if there is any help would be apretiated

RE: Which plane to get?
There are lots of planes that will meet that criteria. This is not the forum to find them though. Just the main electric forum would be better.
The planes we talk about in the 3D forum are a big step from the basic trainers you mentioned and may likely be too much for your dad to go to next. Check out [link]http://www.horizonhobby.com[/link] they have many planes that will meet the criteria and be much easier to handle. When your ready to fly serious aerobatics and 3D then check out [link]http://www.3dfoamy.com[/link]. All the planes there are designed to fly 3D, other than the jets I suppose.
Also keep in mind that often time bigger planes are easier to fly and big electrics are very expensive.

RE: Which plane to get?
A plane like this stick would be a great next step, [link]http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFL2350[/link].
Just look for a 4 channel plane, but not necessarily a 3D plane. 3D planes are somewhat unstable by nature since that is required to perform some of the manuevers we ask of them.
BTW, this particular forum is for the support of planes manufactured by 3D Foamy.
